The Founding of AANC

Recollections from Doug Berger

A few quick words about of the beginning. There was a star party at Fremont Peak, where the subject was discussed. The next morning, a group of us met at Chabot on the way home and had the first meeting. People present included:

Doug Berger
Joe Farkus
Denni Frerichs
Frank Miller
Ralph & Elsa Parlette
Jerry Rattley (Maybe)

There may have been a couple of others, but I can't remember them right now. The first name given to the new organization was Astro Intercom, but that didn't last very long, and it became the AANC.
